The guy in the picture is part of a traveling troupe of entertainers/traditional medicine sellers in Nigeria. Photographer Pieter Hugo documented their sheer hyena-owning badassness and general coolness in 2005 after seeing a man rumored to be a "debt collector" in a cell phone picture sent from his friend who was in Nigeria.
